SUPERVISOR FLETCHER WILL CONTINUE TO DELIVER RESULTS IN SECOND TERM
San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher is eager to continue in his second term to be the leader that delivers results for San Diegans.
On Monday, January 9, Supervisor Fletcher will be sworn in for his second term during a ceremony that begins at 10 a.m. at the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Hwy., inside the Board Chambers.
“In four years, and despite the difficult circumstances brought on by a global pandemic, we fundamentally changed the way San Diego County supports our community,” said Supervisor Fletcher. “We have made tremendous progress, but there is more to be done. Many of the policies and programs we introduced during my first term have recently launched or are about to launch. I am excited to continue to work on implementing them and deliver the results San Diegans have come to expect from my office and their County government.”
During his first term, Supervisor Fletcher worked to fundamentally change how San Diego County government serves its residents. From 2019-2022, he passed more than 130 policies; 92% of which received bi-partisan support.
Supervisor Fletcher’s leadership drove the transformation of the way mental health and addiction treatment are delivered; people experiencing homelessness are helped; how affordable housing is built and the County addresses climate change; and the way children and families are provided services.
