Hiring More Veterans, Funding To Keep People Housed and a Community Benefit Agreement Are On the Agenda for the Board of Supervisors Tuesday & Wednesday

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors at their meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday will vote on policies to increase the number of veterans working at the County; identify and secure a facility in East County to support veterans; replenish funds for a flexible housing pool to help people at-risk of becoming homeless and a San Diego County Community Benefits Agreement strategy.
Nathan Fletcher, Chair of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, today released a brief video overview of these policies that can be downloaded for use by broadcast, print, and online journalists and community leaders to preview the meeting.
