SUPERVISORS SUPPORT CHAIR FLETCHER’S SAFETY POLICY FOR ENTERTAINMENT WORKERS
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors today with a 4-1 vote passed Chair Nathan Fletcher’s policy to require safety certifications for entertainment employees, vendors, and subcontractors working on events at County facilities.

“As a County, we have an obligation to make sure businesses hosting events at our parks and facilities have workers who are properly trained in order to keep them safe and avoid accidents,” said Chair Fletcher. “The action we took today with this entertainment worker safety policy holds employers accountable and makes sure workers are safe.”
