Green Light for New All-Electric Rapid Bus Route in South Bay

Continuing its commitment to cleaner air and expanding transit access, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Board of Directors today held a public hearing and approved Rapid 227 (Iris Rapid) as part of the region’s growing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network. Service is anticipated to begin as early as this fall.
