Statement: Supervisors Support Funding for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment
Today the Board of Supervisors voted to support the behavioral health needs of children, adults and seniors in San Diego County. Tackling behavioral health and substance abuse is my top priority. I was pleased the Board was aligned on its commitment to these areas and approved up-to $61 million in funding for professionals to administer mental health and substance abuse treatment, and support for people suffering from dementia.
Supervisor, District 4
