Supervisors Pass Framework for Opening Businesses Safely
The Board of Supervisor today voted in support of a framework Supervisor Nathan Fletcher and Chairman Greg Cox, Co-Chairs of the County’s COVID-19 Subcommittee, introduced to help businesses in San Diego County prepare to reopen safely when the time is deemed right by the State of California and the County’s Public Health Officer. The Supervisor released the following statement in response to the vote.
“We want people to be able to get back to work, and start the difficult work of rebuilding our economy, but it is vital that it be done right. The guidelines outlined in the framework we approved today help us begin to move forward together. Businesses should begin preparing now and use this new policy as your framework for when the listing of essential businesses is expanded.”
