Supervisor Fletcher Addresses Air Quality with the USS Bonhomme Richard Fire
07/13/20
Air pollution from any source has devastating effects on communities, including our most impacted portside environmental justice communities. The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District is working with federal partners and has activated three new air quality monitors to measure emissions from the USS Bonhomme Richard fire. The Air Pollution Control District is working with the Navy to determine if additional monitoring is needed.
We understand the importance of timely updates and public health guidance. These updates are available at https://www.sdapcd.org/.
